The author of this blog traces its origin to that of Iranun-Maguindanaon, a fusion of the two Moro ethno-linguistic tribes ( there are thirteen Moro ethno-linguistic tribes) found in the southern part of the Philippines. Long before the coming of the conquistadores in Mindanao, a flourishing culture has already been existing. Yours truly has a burning passion for the preservation of my origin and the Mindanao heritage. Performing Cultural dances and watching theatrical performances from the experiences of a Moro or a Mindanaonon (as always coined by Senator Nene Pimentel, referring to inhabitants of Mindanao) would always make my hair gushing through my entire body. It has been my long dream to be part of theatrical play on Mindanao experience, either as a playwright or being part of the Acts. Genie, if can you hear me,please grant me this wish..
